General terms and conditions

  1. IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO TOW PERSONS OR OBJECTS BEHIND THE BOAT. The rotating propeller is extremely dangerous.
  2. Respect the privacy of residents and other water users in the lake area.
  3. In the nature reserve, you may only sail on the designated routes. Sailing outside these routes may result in a fine.
  4. Disembark only at public mooring points. These areas are intended for recreation.
  5. The operator of the whisper boat must not consume alcohol and must not have consumed alcohol.

Responsibilities

  1. To rent and operate the Volta 540 (hereinafter referred to as the “boat”), the minimum age is 18 years.
  2. The boat is suitable for a maximum of 8 persons.
  3. You are responsible for the boat and the well-being of all passengers.
  4. Prior to departure, the agreed rental fee plus a security deposit must be paid.
  5. You are liable for all damage caused by you with the boat. This also includes any damage to the boat itself and its accessories. Your liability is limited to the amount of damage not covered by the lessor’s insurance. If the lessor has to claim under its insurance, you are in any case required to pay the deductible to the lessor.
  6. If you do not comply with the rules applicable on and around the water, you are personally responsible for any fines imposed. You also indemnify the lessor against any third-party claims arising from your use of the boat.
  7. The lessor is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to your personal belongings. The lessor is also not liable for personal injury or other damage related to the rental of the Volta. In the event of intent or gross negligence on the part of the lessor, the lessor’s liability for damages is limited to the daily rentalprice of the whisper boat.

End of rental period

  1. The boat must be returned to the lessor at the agreed time and in the same condition as when received. This means undamaged, clean, tidy, and including all accessories such as fenders, mooring lines, cushions, etc.
  2. If the boat is returned later than the agreed time, additional charges may be applied.
  3. If damage to the boat or its accessories is identified upon return, the costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
